A message from President Gaus

Hello members of AADB,
The Symposium was a huge success! And a lot of changes happened during the Symposium.
First, I would like to thank Mr. Tim Jackson for serving his time aspresident of AADB for the past two years. His leadership was invaluable to all of us, and it will be missed.
After Mr. Jackson's resignation was received and approved by the AADB Board of Directors, effective immediately, I was asked by the board to step up aspresident for the remainder of the current term, until June 2013. Lynn Jansen has agreed to become Vice President for the remainder of the current term.
Several positive changes will be occurring to the AADB organization as a whole. We all are a very diverse group of Deaf-Blind individuals, and only througha united stand, can we become as one. We all will be working together, board and general members alike, to make AADB a strong organization once again, ideally even stronger than before.
We will continue to keep you all informed of all things as they occur.
For AADB and for you,
Jill Gaus
