Awhile back, AADB Board member Darran Zenger challenged AADB members to come up with $1000 in fund raising for a small prize. Mr. Pellerin rose $1085 for the organization! In response, Mr. Zenger posted the following email for distribution on the membership mailing list, encouraging all members to get involved in the fund raising effort
"Congratulations René!
If you will be so kind to email me your snail mail address (I'm too lazy to look it up! ha!) I will be sending you a $25 Visa gift card!
And now my fellow Members....I am adding another prize, a Grand Prize of $100 Visa Gift Card for the one who brings in the most amount of money for this Callenge! René proved he can bring in over $1000.
To make things more fair, I am extending the challenge to December 31st! At the end, whomever brings in the most money for this Challenge for AADB, the winner will recieve the $100 Visa Gift Card!
And René, you can still win! He is already ahead folks so let's get busy!
And as a "heads up" for next year, I am working on another Challenge for the year 2012 that will rsult in a $250 Visa Gift Card for the first person to reach this challenge and a Grand Prize of $500 Visa Gift Card for the individual who will bring the most money into AADB in 2012. This Challenge will be separate from any organized Fundraising Events for 2012.
